Manufacturing from 1950 through the early 1970’s in the USA was wonderful, whatever you made or how you made it, people bought it. Then in the late 1970’s, while American companies were busy managing their traditional organizational charts and developing layer after layer of management to control the organization, foreign companies were redesigning their organizations to be agile and responsive to customer demands. American business at the time rejected leading edge manufacturing philosophers or alternate methods of manufacturing. However, the foreign companies embraced the principles of Dr. Deming and relied heavily on alternate methods of manufacturing to gain market share. Dr. Deming believed that each employee had an untapped potential and that the organization could run leaner and better by creating higher levels of employee participation. Rem-tronics culture and business system has followed the philosophies of Dr. Deming. Recognizing that our employees are our most valuable asset, yet understanding that it is the proper integration of the organization as a system that allows for our current and future success. Rem-tronics will maintain its focus on three core strategies; customer focus, quality, and agility, while utilizing the supporting competencies of employee involvement, supply chain management, technology, education and corporate citizenship.
