Congratulations to Rick Serra for your honorable service.

A plaque honoring the heroic efforts of Rem-tronics employee Rick Serra was presented during the Silver Creek Board meeting on December 1st, 2008.

Serra was called to the scene in May of 2008 when a young boy fell off of a cliff near Christy Street. He took quick action to direct someone to call for help and then found a way down the embankment to be with the child until first responders could arrive.

Silver Creek Fire Chief Todd Johnson and Jim Tyka Jr. and Fire Department Lieutenant Brandyn Griewisch were on hand for the presentation.
